Going to tracks for the first time of the season is always exciting, and Tim Russell is ready. He and his Rinnai Racing team will be back in action this weekend as the Sunbelt Series heads to Columbia Motorsports Park in Lake City, Florida.
“I am really excited about heading to Columbia Motorsports Park this weekend,” said Russell. “We have won some races there in the past, sat on the pole a couple of times and just typically run well there.”
It will be Russell's first time to the track for the 2008 season but with the experience that he has on the track, he isn’t too worried.
“I think we are going to have a great car this weekend. Hopefully we shook off our bad luck from Lakeland. The guys have been working really hard getting all the cars ready.
Right now our cars are driving really good. The guys are giving me really good pieces to drive every week and I feel that we have a shot to win every race we are in. It’s just up to me to go out there drive smart and get it done."
