Tim Russell is Ready to Roll at Orlando SpeedWorld
Sunbelt Points Leader Looks to Next Race at Familiar Track

It’s been a rainy race season in the State of Florida with the latest Sunbelt Series event getting washed out at New Smyrna Speedway.  But that rain hasn’t put a damper on Tim Russell’s hot season as he prepares to make it even hotter this weekend at Orlando SpeedWorld.

“I am really excited about getting to go back to Orlando SpeedWorld,” said Russell.
“We have run good there in the past, brought home a couple of wins and I am hoping
that this week we will be able to bring home another win for the team.”

Earlier this season, Tim was able to bring home both a second place and a third
place finish at Orlando SpeedWorld, and this weekend he expects the team to be
up front and contending for those top few spots.

“I am really excited to get back to racing.  We have had quiet a few rainouts lately
but we need it for the state of Florida to get the water levels up, but at the same
time I want to be racing too.    Everybody on the team is really excited to go here
this weekend. We have three more races left on the schedule and we are going to
try and finish as good as we can, and hopefully we will have a shot at winning all
three of them.”

Going into this event, Russell remains the Sunbelt Series points leader, but he
isn’t going into this race with a championship on his mind, he is going into this
way looking to take the checkered first.

“I haven’t been paying too much attention to the points as the seasons winds
down,” added Tim.  “I know that we are in the lead, but I can’t worry about it going
into these races.  I just have to go out there and do my job, finish in the top-five,
hopefully win some and the points will take care of themselves.

Tim Russell will be back in action this Friday, November 2, 2007 at Orlando SpeedWorld in the latest Sunbelt Series event.
