The SUNBELT series has had a little bit of a break fpr the month of May, Well really more than just a little bit. It is has been a month since they have been racing, but that will all change this Saturday as Tim Russell heads to the SUNBELT event at Columbia Motorsports Park. (FL)
“I am really looking forward to going back to Columbia Motorsports Park,” said Russell. “We haven’t raced there since last year and I think that we are going to be a even better this year. We have won there in the limited before and set fast time before. We ran in the Super Late Model there last year and we did pretty well, brought us home some top-10 finishes..”
But this time, Russell isn't looking for a top-10 in his No. 36 Rinnai Dodge, he plans on going there for the win.
“We are going to go there for the win,” added Russell who just happens to be the SUNBELT Series points leader. “Our plan is to try and win as many races as we can, and as long as we go and do that, the points will take care of themselves.”
