Tim Russell Hopes to Back Up Victory with a Win at DeSoto

Youngster Off To Stellar Start to 2007 Season

Tim Russell is ready to add another trophy to his shelf.  His next chance for that will come this weekend at DeSoto Super Speedway where he will participate in race No. 2 of the All American Challenge Series.

He is fresh off a win in his No. 36 Rinnai Dodge, where he was in victory lane at the SUNBELT Series season opener at Citrus County Speedway.   And DeSoto is a track that he has had a lot of success on.  He hasn’t won there in a Super Late Model quite yet, but he isn’t going to let that discourage him. 

“I am definitely excited to go back to Desoto,” said Russell.  “We have ran good there in the past.  We have run a bunch of races there before in the limited, but not yet in the Super Late Model.  We just will go down there and get a good run in and hopefully get us a nice solid top-five.  We will see what we have when we get down there, but I think that we should be pretty good."

The All American Challenge Series event at DeSoto Super Speedway will get underway this Saturday, March 10th with racing beginning at 7:00 pm.
