Tim Russell  Brings Home Another Great Finish at Columbia
Young Driver Continues His Championship Chase
After the latest SUNBELT Series,  another top-five finish was added to Tim Russell’s statistics as he was able to bring home his No. 36 Rinnai Dodge home in the third spot at the latest event at Columbia Motorsports Park (FL).

“We had a great top-five car,” said Russell.  “We brought home a third
place finish, it’s not exactly what we wanted to run, we wanted the win
but you will have those nights sometimes.

“I called for an adjustment that I probably shouldn’t of, I got the car too
tight for the race and we had to live with it.  We had a tight car for the
whole race. The team worked good all weekend, just a little mistake
that I made on a little adjustment; I didn’t expect the track to tighten
up that much.  We will know what to do next time.   But it was a good
points night, so we can’t be too disappointed.“

Russell will have the opportunity to use that momentum from that
top-three finish this weekend as his SUNBELT Series championship
chase continues this weekend at USA International Speedway, in
Lakeland, Florida.

“Now we are really looking forward to going to the 200 lap event at Lakeland (USA International Speedway),” added Russell.   “We are really excited.  The whole Rinnai Tempaco team is ready to go.  Tempaco is putting on a big event with Clearwater Gas Systems and we are excited for all those people to come along for the weekend.  Hopefully we will be able to put the Rinnai Dodge in victory lane forthem and make sure that they have a good time.”
