Tim Russell Wants Ocala Victory
Russell Prepared for Challenging Ocala
Tim Russell likes to win, and he has already done exactly that numerous times in his career.  Winning typically comes easily for the talented 23-year-old and he is doing everything within his power to ensure that another victory will be his as he heads to Ocala Speedway for the second time this season.
“I am really, really looking forward to going to Ocala this weekend,” said Russell.  “We went and tested there last week and we were really good and I think that we will be a little bit better when we go back.”

One of the things that make Ocala Speedway so special to Tim is that it challenges him.  Ocala is not an easy track to get around.  It is notorious for people coming in with shiny new racecars and leaving with a little bit more than just scrap metal.

“Ocala is just a very, very unique track,” added Russell.  “Only a handful of drivers in Florida can get around it and I really want to be one of those drivers.  I have been to Desoto (Super Speedway) and have won there multiple times, and if I just went there and was racing I wouldn’t learn near as much as I will at Ocala.
“I figure if I can go here and pull off a win I can be one of those handful of drivers who can get around Ocala and that means you can get around and win anywhere.”

The Sunbelt Series Super Late Model even will get underway this Friday evening August 25, at Ocala Speedway.  Racing action will start at 7:30pm.
