TIM RUSSELL HEADED BACK TO DESOTO

Wants To Repeat as Seafest Champion

It’s another back-to-back racing week for Tim Russell.  He is gearing up to head to DeSoto SuperSpeedway this coming weekend for the annual Seafest event.  Last year Russell was able to compile six wins at the track.  He hopes that he will be able to add to his total this weekend.

“I am definitely excited about going to DeSoto for Seafest,” said Russell.  “Hopefully we can win there this year in the Super Late Model.  We won the event in the Limited Late Model class last year and that was pretty cool.   It would be pretty neat to be win them in both classes and a good way to begin to wind down the season.”

Russell is coming off a rough weekend last week where contact with another vehicle ended his chances for the win at Columbia Motorsports Park.  This weekend, he hopes to avoid the bad luck and make it two years in a row in Victory Lane at DeSoto SuperSpeedway.

The Annual Seafest will get underway this Saturday October 7th 2006 with racing action starting at 7pm.
